Opens the first Nature Kindergarten in The North East

The nursery  which is in Lucker, Northumberland , has been inspired by recent Scandinavian research which encourages children to learn from a balance between indoor / outdoor and woodland play learning experiences. The combination as a learning experience is  found to be highly beneficial  for the physical, mental, social, and emotional development in young children.

The kindergarten's 2Magic Woods " is a haven in which children can explore, and learn about the world around them under the guidance of  trained nursery staff . The children learn how to play safely in the outdoors with a sense of freedom that is often lacking in every day life as children no longer play outdoors in the street as much as adults today did as children .

The staff  tailor the learning and development needs of every child through observation , planning, and assessment within The Early Years Founadtion Stage .As well as welcoming new children in to the nursery , they welcome enquiries from educational establishments who would like to hire the "Magic Woods"  to train  staff  in how to  educate children using outdoor play .For more information tel Hollie Walker 01668 213 459
