Launches a new fairytale story book and colouring book with chalks about King Oswald "The First Godly King of England " who lived in Lindisfarne Northumberland .

The story book is a fairy tale about Oswald as he grew up in Northumberland, and is an important part of Northumbrian history .Stephen Jemison , the author and local songwriter has written the story in a fairy tale style, to capture the imagination  of young children and adults keen to learn about our Northumbrian heritage .It is written in a langauge that children find easy to understand , and uniquely illustrated with chalk drawings  that have been graphically enhanced by Yellow Tiger .The colouring book matches scenes from the story book further engaging the children in the story , and givesthem the opportunity to copy the original story book with the box of chalks that are supplied with it .

The book is proving extremely popular in tourist attractions such as Bedes World , and other book shops in the region , but Stephen is keen to hear from any other outlets , including schools who may be interested in buying the books to help with The National Curriculum in schools or local tourist attractions

To add to the Celtic theme , Stephen also sells modern day framed photographs of scenes from the book which are attractive souvenirs from the region.  If you are interested in speaking to Stephen about how his books could be of interest to you please email sjpublishing@myguide.net
